Coaching Philosophy:
"My coaching philosophy is based on helping my players succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
Many players come in thinking the game of softball is black and white. It is far from it. I want my players to understand that and to be able to think on the fly. I want them to understand why we do what we do and to be able to self-correct. This builds confidence in themselves and their ability to play the game. I will always keep raising the bar for them to achieve more, because once their career is over, there is no going back. I want them to be the best they can be when they leave STLCC.
I also push my players to be the best students they can be in the classroom. There will be a day where what you learned in the classroom becomes more important than how talented you are on the softball field. I want each player to have all the opportunities life has to offer.
Lastly, my players can come to me for help, no matter what obstacles they face. There are things in life that are just more important than softball. Whether they are current players or alumni, my players always know I am just a phone call away."
