St. Louis Community College had an impressive showing in their sub-regional matchup against Mineral Area College, securing a spot in the Region 16 Tournament. In game 1, the Archers dominated with a 10-2 victory, led by strong performances from Matthew Brown  and Dylan Block  both at bat and on the mound, particularly with Ethan Smith's 12 strikeouts.

Game 2 saw St. Louis Community College continuing their dominance with an 8-1 win. Jayden Jones  stood out with 3 hits, including a home run, and 4 RBIs, while Bryce Louis  delivered a solid pitching performance, allowing only 1 run on 8 hits over 8 innings.

Mineral Area College struggled to match the Archers' offensive firepower, managing only 3 runs across both games. With this victory, St. Louis Community College advances to the Region 16 Tournament as the 3 seed, where they will face #2 Jefferson College on May 9th at 4:00 PM at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Mo.
