The STLCC volleyball team collected a big win to open the 2019 season on Friday, August 23 at Kaskaskia College. After dropping the first set by a score of 25-27, STLCC bounced back by winning the next three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-15 and 25-18. Kayla Sidener and Trisha Gaylord led STLCC in kills with nine. Lauren Partney collected 15 assists in the match, while Emma Leppien chipped in with 14. Lillian Howell led the Archers in digs with 28.
STLCC will take a 1-0 record into their home opener on Monday, August 26 against Lewis and Clark CC. Monday's match is set to begin at 6:00pm.
