The Lady Archers volleyball team came away with three wins in the STLCC Tournament, which was played on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29. On Friday, STLCC opened tournament play with a 3-0 loss against Kaskaskia College. The team was able to bounce back in a big way during Friday's nightcap against Lewis and Clark CC. After trailing two sets to one, the Lady Archers caught fire, winning set four 25-14 and set five 15-10. On Saturday, STLCC opened play with a decisive 3-0 victory over Shawnee CC. After falling to Central Methodist University JV 3-0, the Lady Archers finished with a bang, defeating Millikin University JV 3-1.
With three victories over the weekend, the Lady Archers improve to 6-10 on the season. They will be back in action on Wednesday, September 26, when they travel to Union, MO to open Region XVI play against East Central College.
