The STLCC volleyball team traveled to Lewis and Clark CC and came away with a quality road victory. The Lady Archers had to battle back after going down 2-1 after three sets. They did just that, winning the 4th set 25-22 and the 5th set 15-11. STLCC was led offensively by Breyanna Howard (14 kills) and Abigail Slattery (8 kills). Addison Schneider recorded seven kills and 21 assists. Lauren Partney also had a big night setting for the Lady Archers, tallying 19 assists. Freshman Libero Emma Pramik was able to record 31 diggs in the match.
The Lady Archers improve their record to 2-4 on the young season. The team will be back in action on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15, when they travel to Belleville, IL to participate in the Southwestern Illinois College Tournament.
