The St. Louis Community College volleyball keeps working on becoming a better team come November Region tournament time, and tonight they pushed East Central, a perennial Region 16 power, as close as possible in the first two sets before falling in three sets.  The Archers lost the first set 26-24, and the second set 25-23 before falling 25-13 in the final set.  Sophomore Maura Rabun tallied seven kills on the night, while freshmen Rae Andrews and Molly Shultehenrich each collected six on the night.  Sophomore transfer, Sarah Stretch, dished out eleven assists and also dug twelve balls on the night, while freshman Ali Ayotte posted fourteen digs on the night.

The schedule does not let up for STLCC, as they welcome defending Region 16 champion MCC-Longview to the Meramec campus for a 6:30 pm match on Friday night.
