The STLCC women's soccer team fell by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday, August 28 to Southeastern CC. In Wednesday's match at Flo Valley, the Archers struggled to find a consistent rhythm in the first half of play and trailed 1-0 at the half. Southeastern then took a 2-0 lead with another tally at 53:00. STLCC began making a comeback in the final minutes of the contest, thanks to goal from Mikayla Sisk at 85:00. In the end, Southeastern was able to hang on for a 2-1 win, handing the Archers their first loss of 2019.
STLCC falls 1-1 on the season and will be back in action on Sunday, September 1 at home against South Suburban College at 11:00am.
