The STLCC women's soccer team will open postseason play on Wednesday, October 24 against Metropolitan CC in Independence, MO. The Lady Archers received the #3 seed for the regional tournament and are only one win away from the regional championship match. Wenesday's match comes after an impressive 9-0 win on Friday, October 19 against Dyersburg State CC. In Friday's offensive explosion, STLCC got goals from Grace vanHoornbeek, Maggie Tovar (2), Madison Gann (2), Madison Dodd, Michalla Rohrer, Salma Omer, and Sam Amezcua.
The Lady Archers finished the regular season at 9-6-1. Wenesday's tournament match against MCC is set for a 6:00pm start at Bingham Middle School in Independence, MO. If STLCC can advance, the team will take on the winner of Wednesday's St. Charles CC vs. State Fair CC match on Sunday, October 28 at 2:00pm.
