The STLCC women's soccer team fell in a tough region/conference match on Sunday. After neither team was able to find the back of the net in regulation, the match went to overtime. In the 98th minute, State Fair was able to tally the game winning goal. Kelly Cates made seven saves in the match for the Lady Archers.
With Sunday's loss, STLCC falls to 7-5 overall, 1-1 in MCCAC play, and 1-2 in Region XVI play. The Lady Archers will be back in action on Tuesday, October 9, when they travel to Belleville, IL to take on Southwestern Illinois College at 4:00pm.
