Lady Archer's Begin Season With A Victory

The Lady Archers soccer program opened the 2018 season with a 2-0 victory at Heartland Community College.  St. Louis Community College was able to put 13 shots on goal in the first half, but all were stopped by the Heartland keeper. The Archers continued to push in the second half and landed their first goal of the season at the forty-sixth minute mark, when sophomore Madison Dodd found the back of the net.  Freshman forward Lindsey Davis was able to add an insurance goal to put the game away in the seventy-third minute.

Freshman goalie Kelly Cates recorded her first shut out of the season by stopping all four Heartland shots.

The Lady Archers will be back in action on Aug 31, when they take on #7 ranked Daytona State College at Eastern Florida State College.
