All athletic teams hope to be playing their best at the end of the season and right now this is taking place with the STLCC women's soccer team, as they traveled to State Fair Community College on Wednesday afternoon and returned with a 1-0 victory to wrap up Region 16 play.  The Archers notched the lone goal of the match in the twenty-first minute of the match as Alexa Griffonetti beat the Roadrunner defense and goalie, as she played a ball from Kate Ohler, the goal was Griffonetti's eleventh of the season.  Libby Modde made three saves on the afternoon to notch her sixth clean sheet of the year.

The Archers improve to 9-6 on the season, and are 8-2 in their last ten matches and have won three matches in a row.  STLCC returns to action on Saturday afternoon for a noon match, on the Meramec campus, with Illinois Central College.  The Archers will celebrate sophomore day before the start of the match.
