While the score does not reflect the entire story, the STLCC women's soccer program went went toe-to-toe with one of the best programs in the country on Wednesday afternoon on the Flo Valley campus, falling 4-0 to #13 Lewis & Clark Community College. The Archers fired off twelve shots, including eight on goal, but could not find the back of the net, as the Trailblazer goalie made some tough saves throughout the afternoon. Rebecca Bass and Kaitlin Robertson both had two shots on goal for the Archers offensively and Libby Modde collected six saves.
The Archers fall to 1-4 on the season and return to action on Monday, as they travel to Central Methodist University for a 6:00 pm start.
