Archers Shutout Scott Community College

The St. Louis Community College women's soccer program might not have had class on Monday thanks to Labor Day, but they traveled to Iowa and put in the work defensively to record a 1-0 victory to raise their record to 2-1-0 on the young season.

Libby Stubbs scored the lone goal in the match, with an assist from Alyssa Reiker, on a corner with 11:24 remaining in the first half.  Amanda Hughes recorded nine saves in net to notch her second shutout of the year.

The Archers return to action on Saturday September 10th at Waubaunsee Community College for a 1:00 pm start.

Mike Duffy's Bar and Grill Play of the Match: Stubbs goal on the corner kick to put the Archers on the board in the first half.
