Archers Pack Offense at Illinois Central

St. louis Community College traveled across state lines to Peoria, IL on Saturday afternoon for a cross region matchup with Illinois Central College and scored a season high five goals in a 5-1 victory.  The Archers improved their record to 4-2-2 on the season.  

In minute thirty-eight, Kate Wing score the first of her two goals on a corner, assisted by Beth Page, and one minute later, Rebecca Bass score on an assist from Wing.  In the second half of the match, Kate Wing scored an unassisted goal on a breakaway in the seventy-ninth minute, her fifth goal of the season.  Kaitlin Jennings scored her first two goals of her career in the eighty-six and eighty-seventh minutes, both on unassisted goals.  Amanda Hughes saved five shots in the match to record the victory in net.  

The Archers return to action on Tuesday, September 26th at 4:00 pm in Godfrey, IL as they face Lewis & Clark Community College.
