The STLCC women's basketball team defeated Maryville University Club on Saturday, February 8.  The Archers were able to find consistency on offense early and took a 41-9 lead going into halftime.  The offense kept coming in the second half for STLCC and the Archers rolled to a 87-32 victory on STLCC Spirit Day.

STLCC was led offensively by Kyla Richardson, who scored 23 points in the contest.  Janet Garrett (18 points, 11 rebounds) and Kierra Winkeler (14 points, 15 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles in the game.  Ashalei Hughes also scored in double figures for the Archers and Ronne'zja Elliott led the team in assists with nine.

With the win over Maryville, the Archers improved to 7-13 on the season.  STLCC will return to action at home against Arkansas State University Mid-South on Wednesday, February 12.  Wednesday's game is set to tip at 5:30pm.
