The STLCC women's basketball team came away with a big Region XVI road win on Saturday, February 1 against North Central Missouri College.  The Archers outscored the Pirates 21-12 in the first quarter of Saturday's game and outscored North Central in every quarter, leading to a 74-54 win. 

Leading STLCC in scoring against the Pirates was Ronne'zja Elliott with 31 points.  Also scoring in double figures for the Archers were Kyla Richardson (15 points) and Janet Garrett (11 points).  Garrett also led STLCC in steals with seven and tied Kierra Winkeler for the team lead in rebounds with eight.

With the win over North Central, STLCC improves to 6-12 overall and 1-1 in Region XVI play.  The Archers will be back in action on Tuesday, February 4 at Three Rivers College.  Tuesday's game is scheduled for 5:00pm.
