The STLCC women's basketball team fell to Mineral Area College on Wednesday, January 22.  After trailing by a score of 32-24 at the half, the Archers struggled to find offensive consistency in the second half and fell by a final score of 61-43.

Janet Garrett led STLCC in scoring with 13 points. Ronne'zja Elliott finished with nine points for the Archers and Ashalei Hughes finished with eight points of her own.  Kierra Winkeler led the team in rebounding with a total of eight.

With the loss to MAC, the STLCC falls to 5-11 overall on the season. The Archers will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 at Metropolitan Community College to open Region XVI play.
