The Archers faced a difficult road test on Saturday, November 16 against #2 ranked Johnson County CC. In Saturday's game, STLCC fell behind early and trailed the Cavaliers 29-11 after the first quarter. Following the first quarter, the Archers outscored JCCC 53-47, but came up a little short and fell by a final score of 76-64.
The Archers were again led in scoring by Ronne'zja Elliott, who recorded 21 points and collected six assists. Also reaching double figures in scoring were Kierra Winkeler (14 points) and Madalyn Collier (13 points).
STLCC falls to 2-4 overall following Saturday's loss. The Archers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 19 at home against Washington University JV. Tuesday's game is set to tip at 7:30pm.
