Women's Basketball Season Ends With Loss To MCC

The STLCC women's basketball season ended with a loss to Metropolitan CC in the Region XVI Championship on Sunday, March 3.  The Wolves of MCC got off to a fast start against the Archers and led by a score of 32-20 after the first quarter.  STLCC was able to pull within 11 points in the second half, but fell by a score of 91-74.  

Leading the way offensively for the Archers were Kyleigh Vaught (19 points), Kyla Richardson (19 points), Caprice Hairston (18 points), and Maia Marshall (10 points).  Hairston pulled down an astouding 17 rebounds in the contest.

The Archers finished the season at 20-8 overall, 4-2 in Region XVI play, and 4-3 in MCCAC play.  STLCC also finished as the runner up in Region XVI.
