Archers Defeat Missouri Baptist, Prepare For MCC

The STLCC women's basketball team hosted and defeated Missouri Baptist University JV on Wednesday, February 13.  The Archers got off to a fast start against the Spartans, leading to an 82-49 win.  STLCC spread the scoring out among eight players, six of which scored double figures.  Scoring in double figures for the Archers were Kyleigh Vaught, Simone Rodney, Kanisha Green-McClain, Maia Marshall, Kimyra McGhee, and Kyla Richardson.  

Next up for the Archers will be a road trip to Kansas City, MO to take on MCC on Thursday, February 21.  Should STLCC come away with a win on Thursday, the team will secure the #1 seed in the upcoming Region XVI Tournament.  The Archers are currently 18-6 overall and 3-0 in Region XVI play.
