Wilson was named 1st Team All-American for the second straight year

All Region victories are important, no matter how they look, and on Saturday the #6 Lady Archers moved to 2-0 in Region 16 play with a 73-61 victory over MCC-Penn Valley. STLCC showed some grit to overcome a week of a team battling flu symptoms, as Chrishana Wilson and Andranae Wash each scored 19 points. Wilson also adding 20 rebounds, Wash notched 5 steals in the victory and Ellisha Davis dished out a team high 4 assists.
STLCC improves to 15-3 on the year and return to action with a MCCAC matchup on Wednesday, as they host Mineral Area College for a 5:30 pm tip on the Forest Park campus.
