Six Archers Land in Double Digits in Home Victory

Six Lady Archers scored in double digits enroute to a 96-45 victory on Tuesday night over Lindenwood-Belleville University JV team.  Andranae Wash and Caprice Hairston each collected a double-double, with Wash leading the way with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Hairston scoring 12 and pulling down 12 rebounds.  Kelsi York scored 15 points, Ellisha Davis and Kimyra McGhee each had 13 points and Erica Waelterman rounded out the the double digit scorers with 11 points.  Wash dished out 6 assists, while Simone Rodney contributed to the victory with 5 assists and Waelterman nabbed 6 steals in the victorious effort.  

STLCC, currently ranked #4 in the latest NJCAA D2 poll, improves to 17-3 on the season and returns to action on Saturday afternoon as they host Region 16 rival North Central Missouri on the Forest Park campus in a 1:00 pm tip.
