In a much anticipated matchup of top 10 teams, Saturday turned into a display of dominance for the #7 ranked St. Louis Community College women's basketball team as they overpowered #4 ranked Kankakee Community College, 94-55 on the Forest Park campus.  The Lady Archers controlled the game from the outset and took a 30-12 lead after one quarter and did not slow down from there, as the outscored the visiting Cavaliers each quarter of play. 

Sophomores set the tone early and throughout the game as Ellisha Davis scored 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while Andranae Wash added 18 points and 4 assists.  Chrishana Wilson added her fourth double-double of the year as she scored 14 points pulled down 13 rebounds and paced STLCC with 6 assists.  Once again, the Lady Archers outrebounded another opponent as they held a 43-26 advantage on the glass.  STLCC shoot 52% from the field and held the Lady Cavs to 38% and saw their bench outscore the visitors bench 31-11.  

The Archers move to 8-0 on the year and return to action on Wednesday evening with a 6 pm tip at Jefferson College.
