Davis lead the Archers with 24 points

Ellisha Davis proved to be the spark for the St. Louis Community College on Saturday afternoon, as the Lady Archers used a strong third quarter to collect another Region 16 win in defeating the host Cottey College Comets 80-61. Davis scored 24 points, collected 4 assists and 2 steals, while Chrishana Wilson added her seventeenth double-double as she scored 23 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and also nabbed 6 steals in the victory. Simone Rodney grabbed 8 rebounds, scored 7 points and had 5 steals on the afternoon.
The 5th ranked Lady Archers return to action on Tuesday night with a 5:30 pm game against the Lindenwood-Belleville JV team, on the Forest Park campus.
