Where there is a will there is a way, and Thursday night in Poplar Bluff the fourth ranked Lady Archers found the will.  Despite being called for six charges and being assessed three technical fouls, STLCC fought their way out of a 16 point hole to pull away with an 87-80 road MCCAC victory over Three Rivers Community College.  Kelsi York led the way for St. Louis, as she scored 29 points and collected 4 steals and Kimyra McGhee turned in an impressive double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  Ellisha Davis scored 10 points and dished out 7 assists as the Lady Archers, who were already playing short handed without Andranae Wash, fought foul trouble in the second half to outscore the Raiders 54-36 in the half.

The Lady Archers forced 20 Three Rivers turnover, fourteen of which were steals, and held a 50-40, rebounding advantage, 22 of which were on the offensive glass, despite having Chrishana Wilson and Caprice Hairston playing less than half of the game each.  St. Louis also assisted on twenty-one of the their thirty field goals on the evening.

St. Louis improves to 20-3 on the year and returns to action on Tuesday night with a 5:30 road trip at Lincoln Land Community College.
