The Lady Archers used a familiar formula on Thursday night (athleticism to push the tempo, halftime adjustments and depth) to run past the hosts at Rend Lake College 100-70.  The Archers had four players score in double digits, led by Andranae Wash who scored a team high 24 points.  Chrishana Wilson added another double-double as she scored 21 points, grabbed 23 rebounds and also added 4 steals on the defensive end.  Simone Rodney scored 17 points and Kelsi York added 16 points to round out the double digit scorers.  Erica Waelterman dished out 7 assists, Ellisha Davis had 4 swipes on the defensive end and Aysha Harriel added 2 blocks on defense to round out the category leaders for STLCC.

The Archers turned a 9 point lead at halftime into a 22 points lead after three quarters, holding true to the trend of making good on halftime adjustments.  The hosts tried pressing throughout the game and the Lady Archers consistently broke the press for easy layups.

The third ranked Lady Archers improve to 11-0 on the season and return to action on Saturday afternoon, as they host Harper College at 2:00 pm on the Forest Park campus as part of doubleheader with men following at 4:00 pm.
