Lady Archers Dominate the 4th Quarter to Win Season Opener

The St. Louis Community College Women's Basketball team decided that the 4th quarter was the best time to break out some lock down defense at the Meskwaki Classic vs. Southeastern Community College in a 64-46 victory Friday night.  The Lady Archers outscored Southeastern 18-2 in the decisive 4th quarter, after playing three quarters of even basketball, to improve to 1-0 on the young season.  

Sophomore guard Shamara Glover led STLCC with 21 points and also added 9 rebounds.  Chrishana Wilson added 11 points and a game high 17 rebounds, while Alfreda Roberts added 9 points and 10 rebounds.  The Lady Archers outrebounded Southeastern 54-32 and created 21 turnovers in the victory.  

STLCC now face the host Marshalltown Community College on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
