Glover Makes Most of Trips to The Line in Archers Victory

The St. Louis Community College Lady Archers made the most of a short road trip to Hillsboro, while picking up a 64-56 road victory over Jefferson College.  Sophomore Shamara Glover led the Archers with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, but most importantly Glover connected on 12 of her 15 free throws to help ice the game for STLCC.  Freshmen Ellisha Davis and Chrishana Wilson each added 11 points respectively, with Wilson adding 15 rebounds on the night.  The Archers, who jumped out to an 18-10 lead after one quarter and held on throughout the rest of the night in the victory, outrebounded Jefferson 37-30 on the night.

The Archers improve to 4-2 on the season and return to action on Tuesday night at the Forest Park gymnasium vs. the Missouri Baptist JV team.
