The St. Louis Community College women's basketball team defeated North Central Missouri on Saturday, 79-70, to win back to back Region 16 titles.  The Archers led from the opening bucket until the final horn sounded, as they improved to 22-8 on the season, and advance to the District P championship game on Saturday afternoon at Forest Park, game time has yet to be determined.  

STLCC was led by Ellisha Davis, who scored 18 points, dished out 4 assists and had 7 steals, while Shamiah Oliver added 17 points while hitting 5 of 6 three pointers.  Crishana Wilson scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Erika Harvey scored 10 points and pulled down 6 rebounds off the bench.  The Lady Archers outrebounded the Lady Pirates 40-34 and forced 25 turnovers in the championship victory.

The region title also means that the Lady Archers were a combined 10-0 in region play during regular season and postseason play.
