The St. Louis Community College Lady Archers took advantage of the fifteen minute intermission on Saturday afternoon to defeat MCC-Penn Valley 68-50, on the Forest Park campus.  STLCC jumped out quickly to a 12-6 lead on MCC-Penn Valley after one quarter, but quickly saw the Scouts take over the second quarter and take a 27-21 lead into the locker room at halftime.  Freshman Chrishana Wilson, who sat for sixteen of the twenty minutes in the first half with two fouls, took over the game in the second half with help from fellow freshman Erica Waeltermann and sophomore Shamiah Oliver.

Wilson scored a team high 20 points, grabbed a team high 12 rebounds and for fun through in a team high 4 steals as the Archers outscored Penn Valley 26-6 in the third quarter and 47-23 in the second half.  Waeltermann connected on 3 three pointers to add 14 points, while Oliver netted 13 points in the victory.  Ellisha Davis added 8 points and a game high 7 assists, and Alfreda Roberts secured 11 rebounds and contributed 7 points.
