Archers Fall on the Road to Lincoln Land

The St. Louis Community College Lady Archers fell victim to the whistle on Monday night in Springfield as they fell to Lincoln Land Community College 77-72.  The Lady Archers were called for twenty eight fouls and had two players foul out of the game and finished with the game with four other players at four fouls.  

STLCC, who are now 6-5, fell behind 37-17 at the half, but outscored LLCC 41-18 in the third quarter to take a three point lead heading into the final quarter.  Foul trouble became to much in the final stanza as the Archers were forced to play without two starters who picked up their fifth fouls.  

Shamara Glover and Chrishana Wilson both scored twenty points in the loss, with Wilson picking up another double-double on the night with fifteen rebounds.  Ellisha Davis added fifteen points and Shamiah Oliver collected seven assists for the Archers.  

The Archers return to action on Wednesday January 4th, for a 5:30 pm start vs. Marshalltown Community College on the Forest Park campus.
