Softball Team Finds Success In Florida

 The STLCC softball team went 7-1 on their recent trip to Florida.  On the trip, the Archers were able to pick up wins against Southeastern CC, #22 Parkland College, College of DuPage, Rowan College (2), Camden County College, and #7 Iowa Central CC.  STLCC has been led offensively by a pair of freshmen.  Haley Schmutz is currently hitting .433 with four home runs and has driven in 16 runs.  Tori Siebum has also hit four home runs, while hitting .417 and driving in 13.  The Archers have gotten wins on the mound from Hannah Marquardt (4), Sidney Litviak (1), Sophia Koesterer (1), and Sarah Shepard (1).  

With the big week in Florida, STLCC improved to 7-3 overall on the season.  The Archers will be back in action on Saturday, March 23 when they travel to Centralia, IL to take on Kaskaskia College in a double-header beginning at noon.
