Men's Soccer Falls To Crowder At Home

The STLCC men's soccer team fell to the Crowder College Roughriders 3-1 on Saturday, October 19.  The Roughriders got off to a fast start, scoring at 21:00 and 30:00 to take a commanding 2-0 lead into the half.  In the second half, STLCC broke through at 60:00 with a goal from Zach Klevorn (assisted by Brandon Burton) to make the score 2-1 with 30 minutes to play.  Klevorn's goal would be all that STLCC would be able to manage offensively, and Crowder came away with a 2-1 Region XVI win.  Liam Gibbs made six save in net for the Archers.

With the loss to Crowder, STLCC falls to 10-6 overall and 3-2 in Region XVI play.  The Archers will host State Fair CC on Wednesday, October 23 to wrap up the regular season.  Wednesday's match will determine STLCC's seed for the upcoming Region XVI Men's Soccer Tournament.
