The STLCC men's soccer team kicked off Region XVI and MCCAC play with a big win on Wednesday, September 11 at St. Charles CC. Reece Kral opened the scoring for STLCC, when he found the back of the next on a PK to make the score 1-0. Shortly after Kral's goal, Dennys Vasquez put the Archers up 2-0 on a header. The match remained 2-0 until the second half, when Giacomo Sanvitale scored his first goal of the season to put STLCC up 3-0.
With the 3-0 win against St. Charles, the Archers improved to 5-2 overall, 1-0 in MCCAC play, and 1-0 in Region XVI play. STLCC will be back in action on Sunday, September 15 at Metropolitan CC for another big Region XVI match.
