The STLCC men's soccer team got a late goal to defeat Southeastern CC 1-0 on Wednesday, August 28. In Wednesday's match, STLCC struggled go get things rolling offensively in a tightly played defensive match. With time winding down in the second half, the Archers got a goal from Zach Klevorn (assisted by Reece Kral and Dennys Vasquez) in the 89th minute to secure the victory. Goaltender Liam Gibbs collected six saves in the shutout effort.
With Wednesday's win, STLCC improves to 3-1 on the season. The team will be off until Wednesday, September 4, when they host Greenville College JV for a home match at 4:00pm.
