The STLCC men's soccer team bounced back with a thrilling overtime win on day two of the NJCAA National Men's Soccer Tournament. After falling 3-0 in their first game against #3 Barton, the Archers came away with a 2-1 win over #6 Georgia Miliary College to wrap up pool play. STLCC took a 1-0 lead at 65:27 of the contest, thanks to a goal by sophomore Josh Graham. The 1-0 lead lasted until there were only three minutes remaining, when Georgia Miliary evened the scoring at one and forced overtime. It only took the Archers less than a minute of overtime action to finish the contest, as sophomore Noah Vezzu burried a pass from Graham at 90:44 for the 2-1 win.
Unfortunatly, the Archers' 1-1 record in pool play was not enough advance to the semi-finals. STLCC finished the season with a 19-4 overall record and an eighth place finish at the tounament. A Missouri Community College Athletic Conference Championship, Region XVI Championship, and Central District Championship were among the long list of team accomplishments in 2018.
