A strong second half helped the Archers secure a 4-2 against win against St. Charles CC on Tuesday, October 23. Ricardo Navia found the back of the next at 15:00 to give the Archers a quick 1-0 lead at 15:00. The one goal lead didn't last long, as SCC rallied to tie the game 1-1 with 25 minutes to play in the first half. At the 27:00 minute mark, Ricky Turcis scored his first of two goals to give the Archers a 2-1 lead going into the half. Brandon Burton helped give STLCC some breathing room in the second half, finding the back of the net on a set up by Ricky Turcis at 61:00. Turcis followed with his second goal of the match at 65:00 (assisted by Charlie Norman) and the Archers were able to secure the key victory.
With Tuesday's 4-2 win over St. Charles, STLCC's overall record improves to 16-3. Tuesday's win also means the Archers will play for the Region XVI Championship on Saturday, October 27 at Flo Valley against Crowder College. Saturday's match will begin at 2:00pm
