Archers Score Early And Often In Home Win

On Tuesday, September 25, the St. Louis CC men's soccer team hosted Greeville College JV and came away with a 10-0 victory.  Savino Livornese opened the scoring in the first half for the Archers, netting an unassisted goal at 13:40.  Livornese's goal was then followed by goals from Noah Vezzu (unassisted) at 30:44, Alem Sabic (assisted by Liam Testino Lee) at 33:12, and Ricardo Navia (unassisted) at 34:15.  Navia tallied his second goal at 43:22 (assisted by Alem Sabic) to take the Archers into halftime leading 5-0.

The second half of play produced five more goals for the Archers.  Second half goals for the Archers came from Alem Sabic (assisted by Ryan Khedoo) at 54:21, Ryan Khedoo (assisted by Brandon Burton) at 56:18, Keisuke Mafune (unassisted) at 72:00, Alec Buol (assisted by Ricardo Navia) at 82:00, and Buol scored his second goal of the match at 83:00 (assisted by Charlie Norman).

With Tuesday's win, the Archers improve their record to 9-2 overall.  The team will travel to Union, MO to take on Region XVI/MCCAC rival East Central College on Thursday, September 27.  Thursday's match is set to begin at 4:00pm.
