Savino Livornese scores to give Archer's 3-0 win over Blue Storm

The #7 ranked STLCC men's soccer program continued their winning streak at home with a 3-0 win over Southwestern Illinois College. Thirty minutes into the match, freshman forward James Harrison steped up to drill a penalty shot into the goal for the first Archer goal of the season. The Archers continued to apply pressure on the Blue Storm, adding a second goal in the sixty-second minute. Sophomore Ryan Khedoo was able to bouce a shot off of a Blue Storm defender and into the net, giving the Archer's a 2-0 lead with twenty-eight minutes remaining. The third and final goal of the match came when STLCC Sophomore Josh Graham assisted on Sophomore Savino Livernese's first goal of the season.

Archer goalies Odaine Reid and Liam Gibbs were able to secure the team's first shutout of the season.

The Archers will be back in action on Sunday, Aug 26 at 4:00 PM on the STLCC-Florissant Valley campus, when they take on nationally ranked #14 Parkland College.
