After a run of twenty-three straight wins, the Archers ran out of gas against Pima Community College in the final round of pool play at the NJCAA National Tournament on Wednesday morning, falling 3-1.  The Archers outshot Pima 13-12, and 6-5 on goal, found themselves trailing 1-0 at the half.  Early in the second half, the Archers had a goal called back for being offsides and Pima took advantage by adding an insurance goal to push the lead to 2-0 and tacked on an additional goal in the seventy-first minute to make it 3-0.  The Archers did not quit as Conor McArthur scored his nineteenth goal of the season, on a Noah Vezzu assist, to cut the lead to 3-1 and wrap up the scoring on the game.

The Archers finish the season 23-1-0 and spent seven weeks at the number one spot in the national polls.  Sophomores Kurt Gilsinger, Eric Habonimana, Chris Eduardo and Connor Summerhill wrap up their two year career with a record of 41-2-2 and two Region 16 championships.
