Lewis-Kirwan Keeps the Archers Moving

Dion Lewis-Kirwan gave the Archers a couple of reasons to celebrate on Sunday afternoon in Sedalia, MO, as his two goals gave the Archers a 3-1 victory of State Fair Community College, in non region play.  The Archers got on the board in the thirtieth minute on a goal from Ben Holmes, on a George Agai assist, to put the Archers up 1-0 heading into the half, it was Holmes first goal of the season and Agai's first assist on the year as well.  After the intermission, Lewis-Kirwan gave the Archers reasons to flip, twice actually when in the eightieth minute he connected of an assist from Casey Bartlett-Scott, to give the Archers ome breathing room at 2-0.  State Fair answered quickly to tighten the match up at 2-1, but Kewis-Kirwan found the back of the net in the eighty-seventh minute on an unassisted goal to make the final 3-1.  

The Archers, currently ranked at number thirteen in the latest NJCAA poll, improve to 13-0-2 on the year and return to action on Wednesday at 4:00 pm on the campus of Southwestern Illinois College.
