In a spectacular showcase of talent and intense competition, the STLCC Men's Basketball Shootout concluded with five gripping games that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Hosted by the Archers, this event brought together nine visiting teams, offering a fantastic opportunity for basketball enthusiasts to witness some outstanding matchups.

The Archers themselves took to the court against the Kaskaskia College Saints in a game that set the tone for the day. After a tightly contested first half, the Archers held a slim lead of 39 to 37. The second half unfolded as a back-and-forth battle, with the Archers narrowly falling short by a final score of 63-65 when time expired.

The momentum continued with another closely contested match between Missouri State University-West Plains and Parkland College. In a hard-fought game, Parkland College emerged victorious with a score of 69-63.

In the third game, Three Rivers Community College faced off against Southwestern Illinois College in an action-packed showdown. The Raiders from Three Rivers outscored the Blue Storm, securing a 71-59 victory.

The fourth game featured a clash between the reigning NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Champions, John A. Logan, and 4th place Moberly Area Community College. At halftime, the Greyhounds held a 10-point lead, ultimately maintaining their advantage and defeating the VOLS with a commanding score of 90-54.

The evening concluded with a dominant performance from Mineral Area College against Lewis & Clark Community College. From tipoff to the final buzzer, the Cardinals dominated the Trailblazers, securing a convincing 103-50 victory.
