The STLCC men's basketball team fell to #7 Mineral Area College on Wednesday, January 22.  The Archers were able to keep up with the high powered Cardinal attack and trailed by only five points at the half.  The Cardinals was able to pull away from the Archers in the second half and STLCC fell to MAC by a final of score of 81-63.

David Jones led the Archers with 15 points in Wednesday's game.  Jones also collected four rebounds.  Jean Alexis and Tyrail Trussell both finished with 11 points.  Alexis also tied Jones for the team lead with four rebounds.  Ricky Guynn dished out five assists to lead the Archers in the loss. 

With the loss to #7 Mineral Area, the Archers fall to 8-10 overall on the season.  STLCC will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 at Metropolitan Community College to open Region XVI play.
