The STLCC men's basketball team took on perennial power Moberly Area CC on Tuesday, January 7 at home. In Tuesday's contest, Moberly was able to take control early and led 36-26 at the half. In the second half, STLCC clawed back to get within seven points, but eventually fell by a final of 85-68.
Scoring in double figures for the Archers on Tuesday were Mardareyon Clark (24 points), Armani Vermillion (12 points), and David Jones (10 points).
With the loss to Moberly, STLCC drops to 6-8 overall. The Archers were scheduled to return to action on Saturday, January 11 at home vs. North Central Missouri College, but that game has been postponed due to weather. STLCC will now return to action on Monday, January 13 against Missouri Baptist University JV at home. Monday's game will tip at 7:00pm.
