The STLCC men's basketball team traveled to West Memphis, AR on Saturday, December 14 to take on Arkansas State – Mid-South. In the first meeting between the two teams in St. Louis on November 19, the Archers came away with a 74-72 win. The ASMS Greyhounds came away victorious on December 14, defeating STLCC by a score of 72-57.
Scoring in double figures for STLCC in the loss were Marlon Gilard (12 pts), Ahian Barnett (11 pts), and Armani Vermillion (11 pts). Khalib Becton led the Archers with nine rebounds.
The Archers head into the winter break with an overall record of 6-5. The team will be back in action on Thursday, January 2 at Lewis and Clark CC. The game at Lewis and Clark will begin at 7:00pm.
