On Saturday, November 23, the STLCC men's basketball team took on a ranked opponent for the second straight game. The Archers were able to play tight defense and limit the possessions against the #23 Greyhounds from Fort Scott CC and took a 27-18 lead into the half. In the second half, Fort Scott rallied to make it a one possession game, but Steve Lee sunk a big three point shot in the game's final minute and STLCC held on for a 51-44 victory.
Leading the way for the Archers was David Jones with 14 points and eight rebounds. Jaylin Mosby also tallied double figures with 13 points.
The win over Ft. Scott brings STLCC's overall record to 4-1. The Archers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 26 at State Fair CC. Tuesday's game will tip at approximately 7:30pm.
