Archers Move to 2-0 in Region Play After Win Over NCMC

The STLCC men's basketball team reamined undefeated in Region XVI play with a 77-70 win over North Central Missouri College on Saturday, February 2.  In a game that saw numerous lead changes, the Archers trailed the Pirates 36-34 going into halftime.  STLCC's offense took over in the second half, with the Archers outscoring NCMC 43-34.  Saturday's win kept the Archers undefeated in Region XVI play. STLCC had three players score in double figures on Saturday, including Trequon Patterson (23 points), Sterling Wooten (16 points), and Dominique Loyd (16 points).  Wooten also grabbed eight rebounds to lead the team.  

STLCC is now 9-10 overall, 2-0 in Region XVI play, and remains 0-3 in MCCAC play.  The Archers will be back in action on Monday, February 4, when they host Culver-Stockton College at 7:00pm.
