The STLCC men's basketball team got a pair of road victories to close out the 2018 fall semester. On Saturday, December 15, the Archers defeated Harper College by a score of 86-72. Against Harper, STLCC was led in scoring by Trequon Patterson (25 points) and Sterling Wooten (21 points). Charles James contributed with a team leading seven assists. DaMani Jarrett and Patterson led the team in rebounding with six each.
On Monday, December 17, the Archers stayed hot on the road, this time defeating Lincoln Land CC by a score of 81-70. In Monday's win, Sterling Wooten led the way, finishing with 22 points and seven rebounds. Trequon Patterson added 20 points and Robyion Hughes recoreded 18 points.
The Archers head into the break at 5-5 overall and 0-1 in MCCAC play. STLCC will be back in action on Sunday, December 30, when they travel to Carlinville, IL to take on Blackburn College JV for a 1:00pm matchup.
