Archers Fall In Opening Game Of STLCC Shootout

The STLCC men's basketball team fell 67-56 to the #15 ranked Parkland College Cobras on Sunday, December 2.  In the opener of the annual STLCC Shootout, the Archers trailed the Cobras 28-21 at the half.  STLCC made a push in the sencond half, but undefeated Parkland was able to hold on for a 67-56 win.

Scoring in double figures for the Archers were Robyion Hughes with 13 and Trequon Patterson with 12.  Sterling Wooten chipped in with eight points and four rebounds and DaMani Jarrett came away with eight points and six rebounds in the defeat.  

With Sunday's loss, STLCC moves to 3-3 overall.  The Archers will open up MCCAC play on Wednesday, December 5, when they host State Fair CC for a 7:30pm tip.
