The St. Louis Community College Men's Basketball team fell 81-60 on Saturday at MCC-Penn Valley. Charels James and Javahn Stith led the Archers with 8 points a piece, while Stith also led the way with 5 rebounds. Twelve Archers scored on the afternoon, but they could not keep the Scouts off of the foul line, as they hit 29-37 from the line. Marquis Pepper had 2 steals and 3 assists in the loss.
STLCC falls to 16-12 on the year and faces North Central Missouri College on Friday evening at 7:00 pm in Jefferson City, MO for the Region 16 semi-final. Winner of that matchup will then face MCC-Penn Valley on Saturday night at 8:00 pm for the Region 16 championship. STLCC, North Central Missouri and Penn Valley all were 1-1 against each other during regular season play.
